A Militant Historian from the Red Dirt of Oklahoma: A Revolutionary Voice Speaks Out
Drawing on her own experiences, formidable research skills, and astute observations of the people and world around her, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz has provided us an astonishing range of work, including her histories, memoirs, social analyses and lectures. She is a professor emerita at California State University and continues to be an activist for social justice from the U.S. gun culture in Loaded to the recognition of An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States.
Join us for an intimate evening in conversation with Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz in the historic setting of the Covarrubias Adobe.
