With the addition of the Edward Borein Gallery opening this Spring, learn about how we will honor his legacy with a talk by Byron Price, a leading expert of Western American art who will explore the fascinating work of “The Cowpuncher Artist” and offer a preview of the Museum’s expansion and landmark publication to come.
About the speaker:
Byron Price holds the Charles Marion Russell Memorial Chair and is Director of Charles M. Russell Center for the Study of Art of the American West at the University of Oklahoma. He is an award-winning author and has consulted on numerous television series. Before taking his current position, he spent nearly 25 years in the museum profession including work on behalf of the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center, and the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
