Join us for a talk by Monty Roberts. An award- winning author and horse trainer, Mr. Roberts was the inspiration for the Hollywood blockbuster movie, The Horse Whisperer. From the Santa Ynez Valley where he resides, to the royal stables of Queen Elizabeth II, his approach of “mutual respect” has been embraced throughout the world and was the subject of three best-selling books.
Learn about his love for local history, the history of early California stock horses and equipment in a conversation about his extraordinary life. Plus, visit our latest exhibition, In The Saddle (open through Sept. 3, 2017).
